Was lucky enough to see him onstage at Glastonbury with Coldplay ... he still sounded in fine voice!

Coincidently, the Gibb family is suffering YET another loss, the matriarch of the family, Barbara Gibb has passed away!!

Thanks for the song teaser.

When you get right down to it, he's an elite songwriter, for which he's never been sufficiently given credit. He's written or co-written a number of songs as enduring as any in popular music. I'm quite excited to see him back with new material.

2nd most successful songwriter of all time, only Paul McCartney has written more #1 hits. As a songwriter, he also had the single most successful year in history with 7 #1 songs in 1978. This included 3 Bee Gees songs, 2 Andy Gibb songs, one Yvonne Eliman song and one Frankie Vally song. From the last two weeks of 1977 through September 2nd, 1998, songs written by Barry Gibb were #1 27 out of 37 weeks, including a streak of 14 conseciutive weeks spanning 4 songs. He probably gets more weeks at #1 if they spaced out the singles a litttle more since his songs were knocking his songs out of the top spot.

He finished the year as teh writer of 5 of the top 8 songs of the year (as well as #11, #19 and #45)

I've been listening to the new song for a few days now and it still sounds fantastic. Barry Gibb will turn 70 next week (how can that be), and his vocals are still outstanding. I love all of the little background vocals he throws in there on this song.

Yes, always loved his falsetto, incredible. He was one of the few who influenced my singing style. In my all time top 10!

Played the album in the driving in the car with my daughter last night. She said "Isn't he, like 70? How can he still sound so good."
