First #MAGA Thread of the Fall (of Trump?)

Fall is actually, physically arriving in Houston today, so what better day to start a fall #MAGA thread? And it's a double entendre as we may very well see the fall of unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump before this thread times out.

For instance, unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump just lost an appeal to keep his tax returns out of the hands of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance. Trump has, of course appealed, but the linked article below states federal judge hearing the case rejected the President's "extraordinary" claim that any occupant of the White House enjoys "absolute immunity from criminal process of any kind."

Describing Trump's argument as a "categorical and limitless assertion of Presidential immunity," US District Court Judge Victor Marrero wrote in an opinion that it "would constitute an overreach of executive power."

I'd say all who empowered him just because he clowned Bush but ain't nobody psychic so... but uh, this is in Salt Lake City in front of the Mormon Convention. I ain't from anywhere near Georgia and i got my own brand of craziness to deal with. But seriously he's pulling numbers and that's disconcerning, flies in the face of all my religious learnings. I hear you. Pence stumped for the Republican mouthbreather candidates for Governor here last weekend. If I have to hear one more "we have to support the Trump agenda" soundbite from that hypocrite...

But he probably got nowhere near Kanye/Kardashian numbers. Scary. Interesting Kanye stumped in Utah. Maybe that wouldn't fly so much in California.

As is the custom here, I am posting a clear warning that the following information came from a story on the Wonkette.com website, which means of course that their story is really a summation or aggregation of other stories. For reasons unexplainable, this concept has been found to trigger certain individuals; hence the warning.

Hey - who do you think pays the lowest tax rate in America? Gotta be those 49% of shiftless Americans who don't pay any taxes, right?

WRONG.

It's the rich!

I know you're as surprised as I am but the facts are in and for the first time ever, the wealthiest 400 families in the USA pay the lowest total tax rate of any income segment.

A study by UC Berkley economists Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman reveals that when you look at the overall tax rate - which includes the combination of all federal, state, and local taxes (including both personal and corporate taxes), the very rich pay the lowest tax rate.

They pay a net rate of 23%, while those freeloading 49%-ers pay an effective rate of 24.2%.

This didn't happen overnight; it's been trending downward for the rich since the '60's. There's a very illustrative GIF on the Wonkette site which shows that with the exception of the Clinton years, that effective tax rate for the rich has been shrinking like certain parts of unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump when he forgets to take that little blue pill. (I AM VERY SORRY FOR THAT VISUAL.)

See it here (the GIF, not that other hideous thing): https://www.wonkette.com/...eryone-now

In YES THIS IS RELATED news, we now have a $1,000,000,000,000 annual budget deficit.

A Fox News poll shows that even before the official impeachment begins, more than half of American voters what unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump impeached AND removed via conviction.

Honestly, that's astounding but also it's uplifting.

I'm not sure how anyone could want unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump impeached but not convicted. Maybe what those people really want is censure.

The percent as found by Fox News who don't want the unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump impeached has dropped by 20% since July, and I predict will continue on a downward path until his "support" breaks below 30%.

Impeachment is a guaranteed certainty. There is literally no political downside for the Democrats in this - only upside.

Maybe. Feels hypee to me. Like he does enough to show it ain't kosher but nlthere is always a loohole or just plain blind support. I admire the care that Pelosi is taking by not burning down the house trying to get rid of roaches. I just think this close to a new election may be a time issue holding a trial.

There is no downside to any American citizen to try to keep the checks and balances of our system of government intact. This corruption goes beyond party.

Unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump will demand a speedy trial on the assumption that it will "totally exonerate" him.

But in the more likely (to me) scenario, in which enough Republicans abandon Trump so that his conviction is a probability, McConnell will hold a speedy trial. If Trump has to go, the sooner the better for campaigning Republicans. Plus, there's this little matter of a new GOP presidential candidate for 2020. Don't forget - a whole bunch of states completely cancelled their GOP primaries as a way to keep any other Republican from embarrassing Trump. But if Trump is gone, then the GOP has to get some primaries in place and fast. Plus, they're going to want other candidates than William Weld, Joe Walsh and Mark Sanford.

By the way, this just broke:

https://www.newsweek.com/...en-1464708

Nearly one in five Republican primary voters would prefer to see a nominee other than incumbent President Donald Trump helm the GOP ticket in 2020, a new Fox News poll has found

Seventeen percent of Republican voters told Fox News's pollsters they would prefer that someone other than Trump be the party's nominee, although 77 percent remained steadfastly behind the president.

Hopefully the very credible and honorable Yovanovitch is the first of many who anwser their subpeonas. Today we'll see Fiona Hill, Trump's Former Euro-Russia advisor. She could expose Guilani and Trump's shadow foreign policy activities. Sonland could go in and testify try to save himself by throwing Guilani under the bus as well.

In non-impeachment-related news, the Nobel Prize Committee had the temerity to award the Nobel Peace Prize to someone other than unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump. Of course, the fix was in. There can be no other explanation. I don't want to hear about how many lives Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed saved by ending the Ethio-Eritrea conflict. How can that possibly compare with being a stable genius that has great and unmatched wisdom?
