In Matthew 22:17–21, the Pharisees asked Jesus a question: "'Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?' But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, 'You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax.' They brought Him a denarius, and He asked them, 'Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?' 'Caesar's,' they replied. Then He said to them, 'Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's.'" In full agreement, the apostle Paul taught, "This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor" (Romans 13:6–7).

"Give to God what is God's". I could not agree more.

For instance, you give your word to God when you get married that you will be faithful to your spouse.

For instance, the Ten Commandments tell you to keep the Sabbath holy.

For instance, God commands us not to lie.

For instance, we are not to worhip any other idols.

Isn't following someone who continually and purposefully violates those promises to God a dangerous thing to do?

It would seem so.

It's one thing to judge a person according to bible scripture - it's another to judge a person according to what you heard on Fox News.

The Trumpers always seem to have more bad things to say about Hillary and Obama than they do good things about Trump. They continually list crap about other people instead of actual productive and good decisoins made by the worst POTUS in history thus far.

lol Hilarious.

lol Hilarious.

if you were or had (and if you have I apologize in advance) ever admitted that Hillary has some huge faults, many that are in the same areas as trump's and some that trump doesn't have then you would have some credibility.

Hillary's racist remarks...

Hillary attacking women who told the truth about her husband's sexual misconduct...

Hillary's illegal use of a private server to send and receive classified information....(what kind of fool thinks a SOS would never ever send or receive classified information? )

Hillary was also shown to have deleted 1000s of mails subject to a subpoena...each one is a violation... and comey lied when he said there was no intent... she knew of the order and she choose to delete them or have them deleted (which itself is a violation)

But yet! There must be some proof of crimes in his tax forms! lol

If you're going to fall back on the "YOU DID IT TOO!!!1!111!!!!" strategy regarding God's word, well - good luck with that.

But again I have to say that I'm amazed at the lengths some will go to justify the unrepented serial adultery engaged in by the president of the United States, and all because they like tax cuts.

I'd suggest reading about what happened to the money changers.

Would you make up your mind?

Do I follow that “charlatan” Joel Osteen, or do I not honor the Sabbath?

You dug yourself into this hole with your invocation of the “YOU DID IT TOO!!1!!!11!!!!!” dumb and ineffective strategy, all the while forgetting that I am not the president.

It does not seem your priorities link up with those that I would admire.

who else is useing the bible to judge others? there is no "you did it too" here...you are the only one doing it... and the irony that to mention keeping the sabbith day holy and then break it... my pointing that out is not "you did it too" it is "you did it period"

I’m not the president.

And since you’re ok with the president of the United States of America breaking all these Commandments, I fail to see why you’d take any interest in little old me.

you are a hypocrite... calling him out for adultery is one thing (other than ignoring "Judge not" ) as I will ASSUME you have not done the same...but as soon as you bring "sins" you commit (I suggest every week of your life) they expext to be called out.

And please do not lie about me... what makes you assume (wrongly) that I am OKAY with Trump breaking any of the commandments? I just pointed out that you are a hypocrite.

Accusing him of breaking the sabbith as you break the sabbith... I strive to hold people to the same standard... proves you are two faced.

You’re clearly fine and dandy with unrepentant serial adulterer Donald J. Trump’s multiple and on-going practice of aduktery because rather than criticize him for what we know to be true, you look the other way and try to deflect to me with falsehoods and judgements.

LOL even by the wildest stretch fire is not electricity.

and electricity is all in our body, the brain, nervous system, muscle movement etc.
so in order for not breking the Sabbith you'd have to DIE every Friday afternoon. then also Jesus and every human ever alive would have been breaking EVERYS Sabbith cause God made a fucked up Sabbith breaking design LMFAO

anyway in reality of course fire is NOT electricity

so then I have yet to discover that bible part about electricity

or render you a LIAR again just making stuff up about people

You do not "LIKE" it? falloff

You say you do not "like" Donald J. Trump's serial adultery, and yet you support him. Therefore, you believe tax cuts or some other issue is more important than adultery. You are willing to overlook adultery in favor of perceived personal gain.

I am very sorry that you do not get that, and that you think the best course of action is to invoke the "YOU DID IT TOO!!11!!111!!!" defense.
