That's a whole other kettle of fish. The purpose of this thread was to show that we're really doing the Palestinians no favors by pretending that their problems are the result of Israel (again, as the man states in the video).

For over seventy years now, the Arabs have been trying to slaughter the Jews (strictly on religious grounds - they had zero problem with Jordan and Egypt "occupying" that land).

The Democrats' stubborn refusal to call a spade a spade here is emblematic of why they lost last time to a complete and utter moron (https://en.wikipedia.org/...nald_Trump) and why it looks like they may lose again to same said moron.

I just did a quick google and it appears that you are correct that Canada doesn't give any money to Israel. Why? Apparently, we're content to let the US take care of that?

You guys (I just checked your profile and you're from New Orleans? Love that town. Spent a couple of months there, way back in 1989) give so much money to Israel for your own interests, of course:

"(Melissa Dalton, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies) described the uptick in spending (on Israeli aid) as a natural extension of the long-standing relationship between the United States and Israel, 'as well as close ties between those countries and their peoples.' She described the 'fraught neighborhood' surrounding Israel: war-torn Syria to the northeast, Hezbollah-influenced Lebanon to the north, and an Islamist insurgency in Egypt’s Sinai to the south, all of which help explain the historically high promise of $5 billion in missile funding over the next 10 years. As National Security Advisor Susan Rice said at the signing ceremony for the deal, 'This MOU is not just good for Israel, it’s good for the United States. Our security is linked. When allies and partners like Israel are more secure, the United States is more secure.'"

See how you focused on why the US does give money??

I know why and I don't agree with it. Zero dollars or protection should be given to middle eastern countries/cultures for any and all of their petty differences. Civilizations around for thousands of years, with riches of their own, cannot get along without billions of dollars from a country that is barely 300 years old, and failing at our own problems.

Canada doesn't give any money to Israel because you're smarter and more rational than we are, that's why.

Assuming it's correct that "90% of Media [sic]" is "Jewish owned [sic]", what that's implying (of course) is that these "evil Jews" stab are manipulating the news to their advantage. If that were the case, then wouldn't there be, like, way less coverage of Israel that questions, say, the measure of its responses to terrorist attacks?

"They Create Wars [sic]": I think we've already covered that here. But thanks for the considered rebuttal, Mel Gibson.

And I was not aware that we use the FDA to "ban natural Cures [sic]". I'll have to enquire after that at the next World Banking Conspiracy meeting.

P.S. You ever notice how grammar's usually not the strong suit of anti-Semites? One might assume that there's something about a lack of education and/or a lack of intelligence that's a factor there. But I wouldn't want to cast aspersions. razz

And there's a problem with that? lol I didn't know how much you knew or didn't know about your country's stated reasons for the amount of aid it gives Israel.

Canada doesn't give any money to Israel because you're smarter and more rational than we are, that's why.

Yes, we're so "rational" that Justin Trudeau has given $50 million to an organization that "has a well-documented and sordid history of supporting (anti-Israeli) terrorism":

I am against this war, period. The first 2 pages of this thread show how both sides of this issue refuse to get along. You sound and act like kindergarteners.

Throwing more money at ANY middle Eastern country to further conflict is a waste and should stop immediately. No more money for war toys to play with. Fucking work it out like decent human beings.

Well, of course, I would disagree that anything I've posted here would be anything like a "kindergartener". Perhaps you could quote the remarks in question?

I agree that there are factions on both the Palestinian and Israeli sides that seem to have no interest in resolving the current issues (see original video).

But, it seems to me that your country isn't aiding Israel "to further conflict", but to protect their own interests by aiding the defence of an ally that's constantly under siege.

I'm against any war (or any violence, for that matter). But I would take issue with your characterization of this situtation as a "war". That implies that Israel hasn't been trying to live in peace from Day 1, and have not had to continually ward off aggression from its neighbors.

Do not be fooled by the seemingly kind Jews stab featured in the following clip! If they are, in fact, "kind" (and I am skeptical), they are obviously anomalies!

I have forwarded your post to Borat and he is asking for your contact information (something about 'I like this guy! He know his stuff! Ask if he available to assist with next finding of facts mission!').

Very sneaky post this. You totally dodged the point. The point is that Israel's borders have been expanding constantly for decades. To pretend that this is an accidental bi product of defending thmselves is dishonest.

If you want to rebut my post do it by addressing that point, not dodging it.

Was not at all intended to be sneaky or dodge the point. The point was that every expansion of Israel's borders has been an outcome of a war engendered by the Arabs.

This is a lie. The theft of Palestinian land has been a constant, steady process for decades now. But for you imperialists blame the victim is always the name of the game.

I'm no imperialist, midnight. And (as far as I know) that is no lie. Am I not aware of a war thas was engendered by Israel?

Gray, admit that was antisemitic? Israel is not about Jews it is about them being a state. Once you become a state you are responsible under International law. Stealing land in a war is illegal. Settlements are illegal. Open air prisons and putting people on diets is illegal and evil. Not allowing clean water is immoral and illegal. Bombing Hospitals is...Shall I continue?
