Throwback Tuesday: New Birth ~ ''Dream Merchant''

The unheralded Leslie Wilson contributed lead vocals. Jerry Butler originally recorded this song in 1967 as "Mr. Dream Merchant".

New Birth was that Band that if, They covered YOUR Song, that it wasn't YOURS anymore!! A few examples:

1)It's Impossible (Perry Como)

2)I Can Understand It (The Valentinos)

3)Wildflower (Skylark)

cool cool cool

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman
