“Jill entered into our picture, to sing back up for us. Prince painted her up to resemble Marilyn Monroe. He asked her to dye her hair and at first she hated it. She had an incredible voice, singing like a bird perched in a flower tree. Yet I don’t believe that Prince used her talents to their fullest capabilities. How could anyone blame him though, he handled so many projects at one time.

.

She stood behind the black laced curtain and sang for Susan. Susan didn’t sing at all. However Susan crooned to a rap like nobody’s business. She gave the boys something to scream about out there on stage. They fell in love with her long shiny black hair and her adorable little face. She was all of five feet tall and everywhere she went men carried her luggage for her.”

Thank U

I love this

U R most Welcome

.

"Unsung" and "Behind the Music" come to mind.

.

Acknowledgement of ones talent and skill, to help make that which was inspiration happen in a manner envisioned. All should be recognized for their contributions and for what they have suffered and sacrificed.

.

.

"Poplife"... ironically that song brings back some good memories.

Maybe she should have taken this up with Prince when he was alive.

Yeah, but would he have taken any notice? He may have been like - whatever.

That is exactly my point. If she didn't get her "due" from Prince in the beginning, how is she going to get it now that he's dead?

The whole thing is stupid.

I mean if he did have sex he would break every rule Jehova's have regarding premarital sex so Prince is really just friends with them all anyway.

I am late to this thread

It looks like she just wants recognition on work that is coming out after his death and that is not such a big deal. She should be consulted too and not just the same people. Jill was there too not just the Revolution and Susan Rogers.

Besides it needs to include them all. It was a glaring oversight.

Exactly, this project was thrown together in a sloppy manner and there was nothing stopping WB from reaching out to the Revolution so that could have reached out to other associates. If she did something she should get credit if she does not speak up it will not happen.

Ottensen

Jill needs to go sit her non-singing, non-discerning of proper pitch arse down somewhere. Why did she not take this up with Prince when he was alive?
