Ok, so she just confirmed that the pills Prince asked her to flush down the toilet weren't aspirin. Things are starting to add up, sadly...

Wait so something that allegedly happened in the mid 90s explains why April 21, 2016 happened? confused

Yes the implication is P was taking pills from then up until he died. Now for 17 years Mayte was not privy to Princes inner circle as she was banished, so she has no clue what took place after she was gone. But still she is putting it out there..smh.

Such a loving thing to do; her insinuations have been loving -

baby's ashes burned

guardianship at 16

now drugs - not aspirin

oh and

she keeps lovingly calls him "petite"

No, it does not, but it seems to tell us he did resort to pills, for whatever reason. Flushing them down the toilet indicates he did not want people to know about it, wouldn't you agree?

I know some people were saying she was delusional, from the beginning of her last 15 minutes of fame, and I thought that was probably over stated. But the further I get into the book, about half way now, and the more I see her on tv, I am beginning to think she is delusional. I think she thinks, now that he has passed, he has come back to her, and she can talk about him like she is his widow, and believes that her shady book is loving.

And of course these Mayte stans will defend her by saying "it's her story", "Prince was just a man"-UGH! If Mayte was savvy, she would have answered interviewers questions about Prince's alleged substance abuse problems by saying "I do not have enough evidence to know that he did drugs" or "not to my knowledge". If she did not see him taking drugs himself, then she does not know. Same thing with allegations about Prince burning Amir's ashes. She is more hip to the media's games than she lets on. Like I said, Mayte is proving why Prince kept his distance from Mayte-because even if Prince allow her to Paisley Park to see how he ws doing, who's to say, Mayte wouldn't have called TMZ.

You seem to have a problem with truth. Speaking the truth even when it's a not-so-pleasant truth doesn't equate to "I don't love you".

I agree that flushing something down the toilet means you want ro get rid of it. What i dont agree with is stating on the one hand she never saw anything and then bringing it up nearly 20 years later, puting it under the microscope and speculating about it. This dropping bits of information in public for the press to then circle around like ravenous Jackals putting their own spin on it is WRONG. She is feeding the press information and then pleads innocent when it makes headlines.

So much of what she says in the book has no witnesses, its just her word against his. We all know he no longer has a voice.

Do people suffering from substance abuse die overnight? There are unfortunately many people who use drugs and overdose a couple of times for decade. Sadly. sad

Yes, if they ingest a much stronger dosage or have no idea what they are ingesting in the first place. It's called overdose.

What she should be doing is avocating for how much pain he was in, but she is not, in fact she has basically stated in her book she never saw him in any pain. She saw him loopy, she saw him in ER, she flushed pills, but never saw him in pain. Now tell me what that sounds like she's saying.

Princes autopsy report did not indicate long term drug use. Go back and read the autopsy information threads.

I also find it strange hardly anyone saw him in pain. I mean, his own wife never saw him in pain? Does that mean he only started having hip problems after 2000? Makes no sense.

She is his soulmate afterall. confused

To be blunt, all I see, "look at me, look at me, look at me, feel for me, feel for me, feel for me", which is all good and fine, she has been through some things, I can empathize up to a point but now I'm getting bored.

Not true. Eric Leeds said he saw him getting shots in his knee back in 2003. Silent Bob said while he was making that aborted Rainbow Children doc Prince told him one day his knee was frozen and he could not get up.

We had pics of him riding on an old person scooter in 2004. You can see him limping in the papparzzi film in the Airport.

True, according to her he claimed to have migraines.

And what she actually says regarding drug use is "I never ACTUALLY saw him take anything. When people say actually in a sentence, what they are really saying is I compleatley believe this happened, but I did not see it. And then she follows it up by saying "because he didn't want me to see it", which is another clear accusation of drug use.

Of course with no proof whatsoever. If she saw him okay you saw but you did not so why go there. To sell books and put money in her pocket which she had right to do but be honest about it because it is not coming from a place of love.
