i have to say THIS about Bobby Z ......and the reunion ii just heard a ful interview with bobby-wasnt quite aware of what ol bob had went through!
firstly as an ICU Nurse whom works on the ambulance and chopper retrieval service what bobby had/went through is my bread and butter.
My job is to get these guys into surgery via ambulance or chopper or little fixed wing -
He is a lucky dude and i wish him well-i understand how shocking this can be to the patient AND the family
Its quite a cool choice for charity.
ANYWAY im pretty desperate to see if ol P turns up.

normally im quite cynical but i think it should be great.
very life affirming this.especially for old bobby.i have had countless conversation with people whom have been resusicated and they all take a new slant on life.
Normally i would deffo say P wouldnt turn up but it wouldnt surprise me if he did.

The interesting thing about the way this was done, assuming that "The Kid" does appear, is that it will be a crowd of mostly hardcore fans. If it had been advertised from the beginning as a "Prince and the Revolution" concert, it would be a crowd of whoever could pay sky-high prices for the tickets, I think.
I am honestly so excited right now that whether Prince comes or not is kind of irrelevant to be honest. When you're already at maximum happiness there's no way to get any higher. Rock and roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! Many thanks to Bobby Z. and the Revolution. | |

I'm thinking of all the musical celebs who would want to go to this. Real test of the royal purple church. Lenny has to be there, right? The question is, what kind of press outside of Minneapolis and the internet is out there for this event?
