Sarah Sanders on her way out

Multiple media outlets are reporting Sarah Sanders and her deputy Raj Shah are preparing to exit the White House. She and Fox "News" rebutted that, saying she "loves her job" blah blah blah. She looks miserable 24/7. Every other outlet is reporting this.

The WH is already scared shitless about Cohen flipping. I gotta give it to Sanders, she's leaving before that shitstorm hits.

This experience will cover courtship, sex, commitment, fetishes, loneliness, vindication, love, and hate.

God I hope it happens soon. One less pathological, insane liar in this corrupt admnistration would be a blessing.

A phony "Christian" who spent every day lying for an immoral and indecent man, a man , who if he held a different political viewpoint but spoke and acted and lived the same way- folks like Sanders and her holy roller father would be trashing 24/7. I hope she realizes that lying and mendacity are sins, according to the Bible....

The right wing's view of christianity is so far removed from anything that is even vaguely "christ-like". They have co-opted christianity to spread their hate.

Agree. I don’t know how she could sleep at night passing off lies for her boss. It will at some point mess with her conscience.

Phony Christian Sarah Suckabee Sanders sites the Bible (!) as justification for seperating children from migrant and asylum seeking families, Absolutely amazing. I hope she burns in hell ...

https://www.huffingtonpos...fc01fc9b1d

In a series of heated exchanges between Sanders and reporters at Thursday’s press briefing, the press secretary seemed to have trouble explaining the reasoning behind the practice of separating children from their parents when they cross into the U.S. illegally.

After CNN’s Jim Acosta asked Sanders about Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ claim that separating parents from children is rooted in the Bible, Sanders said that following the law is biblical.

During Thursday’s exchanges, reporter Brian Karem attempted to access Sander’s empathetic side.

“You’re a parent, don’t you have any empathy?” Karem asked. “Come on, Sarah, you’re a parent. Don’t you have any empathy for what these people are going through? They have less than you do. Seriously, Sarah, seriously. These people have nothing.”

Sanders deflected the question by claiming Karem was simply looking for “more TV time.”

And the way she insulted Jim Acosta, "It's hard for you to understand even short sentences"

I really think that press need to start protesting and boycotting.

We as taxpayers pay her salary, that's her job is to answer questions.

Paul Ryan said it was decided by the courts instead of the legislature. They supposedly want to stop the separating with a bill that will include DACA too (who they want to deport). It's scary when these "Christians" get ahold of children.

Sessions cites Bible to defend separating immigrant families

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Jeff Sessions cited the Bible on Thursday in his defense of his border policy that is resulting in hundreds of immigrant children being separated from their parents after they enter the U.S. illegally.

Sessions, speaking in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on immigration, pushed back against criticism he had received over the policy. On Wednesday, a cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church said that separating mothers from their babies was "immoral."

Sessions said many of the recent criticisms were not "fair or logical and some are contrary to law."

"I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained them for the purpose of order," he said. "Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful."

Jeff Sessions is a complicated guy. On most fronts I disagree strongly with him - especially when bringing religion into politics. That's completely wrong. But on the other hand...

...it's absolutely clear that Trump wants to be rid of Sessions. However, he knows he can't fire Sessions. So Trump is trying to shame and bully Sessions into quitting.

And Sessions wont quit.

I don't know if it's because Sessions wants the power to do the bad things he's doing so much that he's happy to withstand Trump's criticism, or if it's because Sessions knows he is the only thing standing between democracy and anarchy.

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume the latter, but I'm an optimist.

I'll give it to him for being stubborn and that might be a good thing. But that gatekeeper stuff is hooey.

You are going to give him a pass for separating children from their parents - and using the Bible to do it? Wow. That's more than optimism.

Okay good. There's citing the Bible - and then there is what is right - and wrong.

It messes with a person's conscience and eventually with their health, mental and physical. No one who has a soul and a consciece can survive in that type of environment for long.

Sarah nor Sessions knows anything about the Bible. If they did, they would want to be as far away from Trump as they could get.
