Joe Arpaio to run for Senate in Arizona

Say it isn't so, Joe. http://www.cnn.com/2018/0...index.html

Joe is 85 years old, and will turn 86 in June. He needs to take the pardon from Trump and RETIRE!

I debated posting this. You beat me to it. Let's go over a few things about ol' Joe Racist.

He created the infamous tent cities which reached 135ºF, and called them concentration camps.

He starved inmates or gave them bread & bologna then made them watch Food Network.

He painted the inside of the Pepto pink and made them wear pink.

He's made people watch their animals die and laughed at them.

He's one of the worst wastes of flesh on the planet. It's no surprise the orange anus supports him.

There is also a guy running in Kansas who believes blacks are genetically predisposed to be addicted to drugs, saying "it's in their character makeup, their genetics". He later apologized, but it's worthless. He's also another old ass white guy (75 years old).

Both of these racist cockbreath retards are fringe candidates and are highly unlikely to win.

This experience will cover courtship, sex, commitment, fetishes, loneliness, vindication, love, and hate.

Not quick, but slow and miserable.

Humiliation is his game. Most Arizonans absolutely hate him.

wishing death on someone you do not like politically? nice. It will be remembered.

Being against the abuse and torture of prisoners isn't a political opinion. Whether it's right to wish death on Arpaio because of his actions is a different matter, but it's not a question of politics.

I thought it was unrealistic that Trump would win.......so it would not surprise me if Arpaio wins.

Dude didn't know he admitted guilt when he accepted our genius president's pardon:

Arpaio appeared on MSNBC's The Beat, hosted by Ari Melber, and discussed the pardon. "The president—I never asked for the pardon—pardoned me because he knew that this decision was wrong," Arpaio said before claiming he had some sort of appeal in the works for the future.

Melber then sprung into the facts surrounding Arpaio's case, reminding viewers (and Arpaio) about the tent-city jail the sheriff once called "concentration camps" and an apparent $48 million legal bill run-up by Arpaio. The former sheriff responded by saying the folks in his jails violated the law, and if they didn't want the conditions they shouldn't have engaged in crimes.

"Let me ask you another important question because you brought up this unusual, but lawful, pardon that you received from the president," Melber responded. "As you know, when you take a pardon you're admitting guilt. Why did you take that pardon and admit guilt?"

From there, it seemed pretty clear Arpaio did not know everything that accompanied his pardon. "I didn't admit guilt. I said I was not guilty and I say it today," Arpaio responded, causing Melber to raise his eyebrows in response.

"But you accepted the pardon, and you know under the law that is an admission of guilt," Melber said.

"No, I don't know about that," Arpaio said. "I'd have to talk to the legal scholars."

Melber then walked the sheriff through the Supreme Court case, Burdick v. United States, that made clear a pardon "carries an imputation of guilt and acceptance of a confession of it."

"Do you understand that's the legal implication of what you did by accepting that pardon?" Melber asked. Arpaio didn't really answer the question.

"I'm not a lawyer, thank God," he said. "But the president can make any decision he wants on a pardon. And I'm not going to argue about what your decision is. I'm sure his lawyers have reviewed it."

That story is amazing! hahaha It reminds me of the guy who thought you had to swear on a bible to be POTUS, when in fact you can swear on nothing, a Quran, a bible, or a copy of Flowers In the Attic. The dumbfounded look on his face was amazing.

It's evident how the GOP thinks as long as they invoke God or country that the constitution supports anything they do or say. The devil is in the details of the law, including a pardon. In fairness, I'm not sure the general public understands the inherent admission of guilt that comes with a pardon. We only hear "Ford immediately pardoned Nixon", or whatever. They don't know how Nixon thought about the pardon and the weight of what came with that. (I'm just using Nixon because it's bigger example.)

I wonder what ol' Joe thinks about his pardon now.

I ran into one of his deputies in a bar two or three years ago. Arpaio was in the news for something or other, and I asked the deputy what he thought of Arpaio. I figured I'd get the usual redneck answer but the guy said, "He's a piece of s***. No one likes him".

Just what every sane american with a heart and a brain thinks. He needs to go to prison for the rest of his miserable life.
