Trevor was so right on here. The girlfriend of Castile was totally in control during and after he was shot in the car with her child present. She addressed the cop as SIR after he killed her boyfriend. "Officer" says FUCK repeatedly and his voice is clearly out of control here. I'm thinking he wasn't even aware of the child, took him way to long to react to that. Whatever police "training" IS - it ain't working. No business being in that line of work at all. Don't they screen for mental strength?

Yes. JJ has eloquently carried that banner for awhile now. He is so good at analyzing it's crazy. I think the focus has to be what law enforcement is doing to protect citizens. We are talking about a $5.99 light bulb here. Ineptitude meets overflowing racial fear. Why are they "serving"? Obviously plenty of money is going to arming them for agoddamntrafficstopjesuschristalmighty.

Juries have to stop catering to bad cops, and find some of these bad cops guilty, where evidence showed they were wrong. The jury that did not convict this cop, may as well have been guilty of murdering Philando as well. I hope their conscience keeps them awake at night knowing they let that killer out on the loose, probably just to kill another. I remember when this incident was first reported, and a handful of orgers were trashing the victim, and Philando's girlfriend, calling her a liar and other names. I guess Philando being killed wasn't good enough for them. Expect to hear about more of these killings, especially in these times, and cops that kill getting away with it. This is apparently becoming the American way.

Dimi, thanks for that. Trevor is right. Trevor knows he could have been Philando. That's why I smh at some of these folks who say 'Well if he/she follows the orders of the police...then they wouldn't get shot' I say to those folks. Go fuck yourselves, because that did not work for Philando. Philando got murdered for following orders, and others will too from cops like the one who killed Philando. Many American cops, who are supposed to 'protect and serve' are now being seen, worldwide, as killers of Black citizens.

Trevor is also right about how the NRA is very silent in this case as well. America is still embracing her sins.

The silence of the NRA is deafening. Makes me sick to my stomach.

"The mere presence of a Black man, for instance, can trigger thoughts that he is violent and
criminal...Merely thinking about Blacks can lead people to evaluate ambiguous behavior as ag-
gressive, to miscategorize harmless objects as weapons, or to shoot quickly, and, at times, in-
appropriately. In the current article we argue that just as Black faces and Black bodies can trig-
ger thoughts of crime, thinking of crime can trigger thoughts of Black people—that is, some
associations between social groups and concepts are bidirectional."

Some here will act like that is a lot of money "to get" for a loved one's life.

Meanwhile it costs taxpayers $3 million dollars per Trump trip to Mar-a-lago every damn time he goes there.

His dumb ass never inquires as to why he's been pulled over "numerous times" by police
officers in the first place. He rails against Castile for driving with a broken tail light which
implicitly means he drives with some adherence to the laws for operating a moving ve-
hicle. Well, if police officers are pulling him over numerous times, then it can't be due to
minor infractions like what supposedly got Castile pulled over.

What would prompt a police officer to pull his goofy ass over for then? This dude is a Tom
if I ever saw one.
