It means a lot that he followed and believed these guys. It cannot simply be dismissed as Prince not thinking clearly due to pain pills sinply because it does not fit with ones world view.

Prince believed in a LOT of things that go against what we are brainwashed to believe is truthful, possible, or, accurate. All the metaphysical messages in his music for example. The akashic records being one of them, which he sang about on The Rainbow Children Album. He believes in the existence of that as well. But most sing the lyrics without caring to understand what they actually mean.

THE AKASHIC RECORDS

In theosophy and anthroposophy, the Akashic records are a compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions and intent ever to have occurred, believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane.

"We found this tape in the akashic records. This is Thomas Jefferson" - Family Name 2001

The list could honestly go on and on. Prince was no idiot. He understood things are not as they seem, and rather then push aside info that went against the normal thinking of society, he embraced it and dove in head first with an open mind to tear the info apart in an effort to see if any substance existed in it.

Not sure how politics has any relevance at all. Trump loves Ohio, shall we not travel through there and hate its population and be intolerant to anything they say?

True or not, Prince clearly believed there was something there as spoken dring his Tavis interview. Do you have difinitive evidence one way or another? Simply feeling it is unbelievable is not evidence. I have no evidence, which is why I don't comment on it one way or another. Prince clearly believed it to be true though.

How do you feel that Prince met, had a talk, and invited David Icke personally to his concerts? You know, the guy who says the ruling elite are blood drinking extra dimensional aliens. Will you now burn all your Prince albums?

I don't buy Alex Jones' chem trails speculation (which was done before anyone knew anything about the drugs). But Prince was certaintly aware of things.

Well, of course. Everyone in flyover country should burn. Don't you know that New York, California, and Washington DC are the only places that matter? rolleyes

I mean if he did have sex he would break every rule Jehova's have regarding premarital sex so Prince is really just friends with them all anyway.

Funny to me how those that don't like Trump bring the hate & comments in this case Alex Jones & Prince....so what...it is good to listen to as much as one can & form your own opinion...I always hear the Trump side is the one full of hate yet all I see is hateful comments & videos from the other side showing no love or respect as they chirp....folks can't even talk without being interrupted or shouted down...6-8 Million viewers per week of Tim Allen's Last Man Standing show shutdown because of jokes towards the dems yet shows like Blackish= A- OK....HUGE double standard....peace&bwild!!

Alex Jones is a nut job. If Prince was a fan I'm sure it had more to do with conspiracy theory shit than politics. My brother is into that garbage. He believes in chemtrails, thinks TWA flight 800 and 9/11 were inside jobs, Sandy Hook was a false flag, thinks the medical industry is intentionally not curing diseases so Rx companies can make money selling pills, thinks the world is controlled by George Soros type bankers. This is crazy shit, unfortunately some people believe it. Maybe what Shelby J. meant when she said she sometimes told Prince, no 1+1 does not equal 3.

All of that is crazy because that is the conclusion you came to after your vast hours of research on each topic?

Crazy to me is calling something crazy without any due diligence whatsoever, with zero info on the subject matter, other than it 'sounds' crazy.

Regardless of how crazy topics sound, when people speak, it is either from a place of knowledge, or, a place of ignorance. To speak of things never looked into as if it is fact, falls in the latter category.

Who knows what is true or what is not, I sure don't. But when I speak to normal things, or, crazy things, I like to do it with due diligence in hand.

If that is the case, that is excellent.

But I have found in matters like these that is not usually the case. The most common responses are knee jerk reactions based on emotion and the threatening of ones world view, with no real research, where folks become an instant genius on the topic, and post in a factual way in an effort to reinforce their own beliefs.

Well there are cures for diseases companies aren't letting out or even bothering to research.

Dr. Sebi was once being sued by FDA for claiming he could cure cancer, AIDS, and other things. When he was taken to court, he had over 70 people with said diseases to testify and declared him not guilty

Brian Clement was also moved against by his state to try to remove him from medical practice, but over 200 people came and testified with evidence and thus they couldn't do anything.

You seem to know a lot for a person who doesn't care.

.
THIS.
Alex Jones is only out to make money. He started the GMO fear that liberals espouse.
He also admitted, during his recent child custody case, that he only plays a "character".
He also had to pay a large settlement recently to Chibani yogurt for his lies about them hiring rapists and child molesters in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Alex Jones spurs out ANYTHING regardless of proof.

Wait until a gun nut kills your kid and you have to hear yourself described as a "crisis actor" by Alex Jones.

Or the lie that no aircraft parts were found inside the Pentagon after 9/11. I have friends who were in there and know better.
But Jones' acolytes won't believe the truth.

It's comforting to know the world is a lie and you need to be afraid, right?

Right! I've known this as well and it makes me really question what Prince believed! Could he possibly have believed all this reptilian stuff? eek I know it's insane but I've watched some of these David Icke videos and strange to say but some of it seems a bit... believable.

Pretty sure I addressed something else you said, namely that Alex is only out to make money, as if EVERY outlet that offers "news" and "commentary" don't do it for the money.

As for the "conspiracy theories", I've seen many things* over the years go from conspiracy theory to accepted fact, including some from Jones, so, I don't jump to discount such things.

*MK Ultra, The Tuskegee Experiments, FBI spying on and infiltrating the Black Panthers and hippie peace movements, Operation Northwoods, etc... and from Alex specifically: the NSA spying on all of us through our devices.

See, rid is how they convince you that everything is a conspiracy,.
Just because some things ate true does not prove Alex Jones BS.
The NSA is NOT spying on you through your cellphone.
At most, they have access to the data you see on your phone bill -- unless they've obtained a FISA warrant.
That big data center not far from me was designed to mill that data and compare it to known bad guys info.

I held a top secret clearance for 20+ years. The most important thing I learned is that there are few secrets. Those big conspiracies like who killed JFK, truthers, birthers ,etc are patently silly.

Paranoia is sometimes a form of mental illness and just because a paranoid person is occassionally right, it doesn't mean paranoia is a healthy state of mind.

I did not read the web site. I am afraid to actually hear those words coming out of Prince's mouth. But Prince went through phases and was still learning.

But here are some things to take solace in or to consider..(for those of us who think skeptism is healthy but fear-based right wing conspiracy theory and cultism are decidedly unhealthy)

a.) In 2009, when Prince was spouting off conspiracy theories about chem-trails, he was most definitely on pain pills as it was reported for his hips..

b.) When he performed Dreamer in 2013, he left off the lines about chemtrails and focused instead on (I believe) racial profiling. That shift in lyrics might indicate a shift in at least some of his conspiracy theory beliefs.

c.) In the last couple years of Prince's life, he performed privately for Obama and online stated that he was proud of him.

d.) He had stated that he was a fan of a musical about American history, Hamilton. Hamilton was a big government federalist (the type of person most conspiracy theorists would probably hate.)

e.) he had a friendship and partnership with Van Jones, a political insider who Prince helped support causes like Yes WE Code and Green energy.

f.) he appeared publically in 2012 with Van Jones. He did not support a party but did not spout off anti-government rhetoric either. He stated that he started digging deeper into politics and learning about the government as an extention of his bible studies.

g.) Speaking of Bible studies, it seems he wanted to use a bit more critical thinking where that was concerned as well. Apparently, the New Oxford Bible was found at Paisley. A Bible with historical context and varying perspectives of the bible provided. He drifted away from strict adherence to JW belief...(apparently Bria Valente broke up with him because of it) and he stated in a later interview of his that his religious beliefs were expanding, that religion was great as long as it wasn't closed minded and that he believed in Chakras (another religion not associated with his). He called Chakras Science but every little bit counts.

h.) In one of Prince's last interviews (these may not be his exact words [due to people not being allowed to record his interviews] but he never denied them), Prince stated that we were living in the feminine aspect, that we will have a female president and that it was as it should be because women are better listeners than men. He doesn't sound like a Trump supporter here. I imagine Prince's Black LIves Matter support would conflict greatly with a presidental candidate who tried to prove that Obama was not an American and had terrorist leanings due to his name in a bit of racist typecasting.

I.) Jones speaks out against Black LIves Matters. Prince was a supporter of the movement.

I don't think that Alex Jones is a nut job. He is just a guy who is using conspiracy theories to sell vitamins and make money. Although, at present he is coming across like someone who is on Putin's payroll and a branch of RT. That being said, it's healthy to not take everything that we are told by politicians and the media at face value.
