Howard Dean's attack on Tulsi Gabbard was ugly. That's the real face of the Democrats. Condemn that.

So you doubt that Assad was responsible for those chemical attacks?

The UN have been perfectly clear. There is no evidence that Assad was behind the chemical incident (I call it an incident, not an attack because there's no evidence it was an attack). Therefore Tulsi Gabbard is absolutely correct to ask for an investigation.

The fact that the establishment goes after people who call for an investigation is very revealing. They have no interest in truth because they already know what the truth is and it contradicts their lies. The fact is Assad does not have the means or the motive to launch a chemical attack. Up until two weeks ago the whole world (including the US) agreed that Assad had disposed of his chemical weapons. But even more importantly, there is no earthly reason for Assad to launch a chemical attack. He was winning the war. It was all going his way. It was looking like it might be over soon. The rebels (Western-backed jihadists) were losing. This chemical incident has turned the tables because it has given America an excuse to bomb Assad. Clearly they are the ones who benefit from this, not Assad.

Please do not listen to the mainstream media and the establishment politicians on this. I know you assume that they must all be acting in good faith but they are not. Their arguments make no sense. It is illogical. Just ask who benefits from this and then ask yourself why no-one in the media is pointing out the OBVIOUS fact that it is the rebels, not Assad. Seriously. Think about that.

Tulsi Gabbard is a rare voice of sanity in a climate of total derangement. Did you see Brian Williams having orgasms on MSNBC as he raved about the beauty of our weapons? This is crazy. Do not be swayed by the mantras repeated in the echo chamber of corporate media. They are designed to mislead you.

You couldn't be more wrong about Democrats and you can kiss my Democrat ass you troll.

And what is your nationality?

You are not the only "out of the closet" Democrat on this forum. Not by a long shot. You ain't that special, honey.

Anyone who is paying any attention knows that this mayor from Baltimore represents the Democrats perfectly well. They are full of nice words for the folks but they ultimately bow down to the moneyed interests. They serve the plutocracy.

I hope the Justice Democrats wipe out a good few of your corporatist heroes in 2018.

And I notice not one of the faux lefties on here has said a word to defend Tulsi Gabbard. Howard Dean (a fellow Democrat) has called for the people of Hawaii to vote her out of office. He has called her a disgrace. It is an unprecedented attack. And yet you guys can't even rouse yourself to utter one word in her defence. You are useless.

I'm a progressive. I support Bernie Sanders in the USA and Jeremy Corbyn in the UK (with reservations though as he's completely shit as a politician). As a progressive I'm against the tyranny of capital. You are for it. You support the corporatists. I don't. That is the root of our disagreement. I also support the Justice Democrats who are organizing from the grassroots to try and take over your party. I hope they succeed.

by progressive do you mean some form of Marxist or socialist or statist? As that IS what Bernie is! He would have to usher in a very high level of oppression by taxation. Taxation is theft and a form of oppression. He would have to have a federal government control of healthcare, education as well as strict regulationn of most businesses. Because to pay for half of what he wants he would have to have a tax of 100% over about 250K but force people to keep working for free over that and implement strict price controls over most goods and services.

With Love, Honor & Respect for all of you...no matter how I argue or disagree my heart is full of love for you all...

the best jokes are funny because they are true!

well sanders is a joke and it sounds great but no way it could be paid for even with yuge tax increases... But if you really think it was posable then cool... one crazy idea is free college! So do what the fed did to K-12 to college? And the foolish idea that it is better that we all pay more in tax forever as opposed to working while at college and sure the use student loans and you know pay them off? But under his plan, we all pay for it forever and for people that paid theirs pay again!

Only, so far I can't get a single Democrat to defend Tulsi Gabbard. What about you? Howard Dean has called her a disgrace for wanting an investigation into the chemical incident in Syria and for opposing Trump's illegal military strike. He has urged the voters of Hawaii to vote her out of office.

Do you think he is out of line on that? I've given up on trying to get Democrats to defend her. If you can do it it will embarrass the faux lefties. Do a good thing, Only. Defend Tulsi. Condemn Howard "The Draft Dodger" Dean!

yes Howard Dean went overboard.
Nothing wrong with questioning the attack. She doesn't deserve to be tarred and feathered for a dissenting opinion. This support the attack or you are un-American is a load of Fox News type bullshit.

Thank you! I was starting to think I was losing my mind with the refusal of faux leftists to defend Tulsi Gabbard. Good to know that not everyone has lost touch with basic values.

I also find it funny that anyone criticizing Hillary (no matter how legitimate the criticism) was accused of sexism (and even racism for some bizarre reason) yet here you have a blatantly unjustified and nasty attack against a woman of color by a white male and none of the same people are remotely bothered. I think it shows how cynical they were in playing the race and gender card last year.

In fact the wikileaks emails already revealed that Team Hillary had "brown and women pundits" (their phrase, not mine) who would shame people who were critical of Hillary. So much of that was calculated.

It's obvious that Tulsi Gabbard better get used to this. Corporate Democrats have her in the crosshairs. Fortunately she's not a snowflake like Trump. She will stand her ground.

Maybe no answer because this is a thread about the Mayor of Baltimore (the one you called a Piece Of Shit) and the Minimum Wage, not about Gabbard, Dean or bombs. Guess rude-azz UK globalists aren't interested in the minimum wage in the USA even though you think you're the 51st state, lol.

Please. These threads veer off topic all the time. Best way to get it back on topic would be to simply say that Coward Dean was out of line, but many of these DNC loyalists secretly fear non-conformists like Gabbard or Sanders, so they say nothing when those non-conformists are attacked by corrupt hacks like Coward Dean.

And it's not really off topic since the reason this Mayor has vetoed the minimum wage bill is the same reason that Coward Dean is attacking Gabbard. It's the nature of the DNC. It's a corporatist party. That's the problem.

Here's another POS mayor. This time from San Antonio. She's a straightforward bigot with poor thinking skills who should be kicked out of office for her ignorance.

What do you mean by this?

Are you implying that the fine institution of slavery should be spoken about with reverence?

People need to stop thinking about slavery as an exclusively American practice that oppressed only black Americans.

Slavery is part of the human condition.

As long as there has been civilization there has been slavery.

Slavery is still legal in some countries.

Slavery still exists in many countries where it is illegal.

Slavery is practiced in many countries under another name.
